AVA-PETER is a group of fertility clinics. The first clinic in St.Petersburg was opened in 1996. The effectiveness of assisted reproduction treatments varies depending on the technique chosen and the reproductive prognosis of the patients. In “Scandinavia AVA-PETER” programs such as egg donation and embryo donation give an accumulated pregnancy rate of close to 90% over three attempts.
The clinic performed 3,641 treatment cycles in 2020; 115 cycles were egg donation cycles and 3526 cycles were IVF cycles. The clinic in Saint-Petersburg has two IVF laboratories, four operating theatres, and six recovery rooms. Take a virtual tour around the clinic.
The AVA-Peter fertility centers and IVF laboratories have helped many couples, single parents, cancer patients, individuals with genetic conditions, and we have even helped those men and women that are looking to postpone parenthood.
Recently the clinic has opened a new page of its development by introducing the time-lapse technology of embryo cultivation using the high-tech incubator “EmbryoScope Plus”. Reproductive cells are placed in an Embryoscope immediately after fertilization, and all preimplantation development of the embryo takes place inside this incubator. The main difference between an embryoscope and a traditional incubator is that a time-lapse frame-by-frame survey of embryos is performed in the Embryoscope every 11 seconds. In traditional cultivation, the evaluation of the embryo is performed three times, for which the embryo is removed from the incubator. Time-lapse technology allows recording morphokinetic parameters of embryo development at all stages without extraction from the incubator. To assess the pregnancy potential of each embryo, three software modules based on artificial intelligence are used. EmbryoScope Plus incubator is the gold standard for human embryo cultivation, and its use will allow AVA-PETER to remain on a par with the world’s leading clinics.
No doubt we live in the era of a strong need for personalized tactics in IVF and AVA-PETER can guarantee that personalized approach. In terms of medical assistance we provide an individualized scheme of ovarian stimulation to guarantee the optimal number and quality of eggs, they offer innovations in endometrial preparation with the aim to enhance IVF outcome, run a large database of egg donors and surrogate mothers.
AVA-PETER is ISO 9001:2008 accredited and has received awards from the American Society for Reproductive medicine in 2016 and 2017. The clinic has a license number- LO-78-01-010986.
