ISIDA Clinic is located in Kiev, Ukraine. It was established in 1992 and is a private clinic with a lot of experience. The clinic is located in own building which features a maternity hospital and a restaurant. There is an embryology and genetic laboratory and one operation theatre. In 2019 the clinic carried out 1,964 IVF treatment cycles, of which 10.8 % were egg donation cycles and 38.2 % were IVF with own eggs cycles. The remaining 51% include cycles with own oocytes and NGS, donor oocytes with NGS, Frozen embryo transfers without NGS, FET after NGS, inseminations, etc.).

The medical director is dr. Viktoria Maksimowa. She was born in 1970 and has professional experience of 26 years. Dr. Maksimowa has been with ISIDA for more than 14 years. There are six doctors in the Assisted Reproductive Technology department and seven embryologists, including a senior embryologist having more than 9 years of experience.

The team at the clinic is truly international – the staff speaks English, Chinese, French and Italian. Three out of seven reproduction specialists speak English. ISIDA clinic holds the following accreditations: ISO 9001-2000 Standards (LGA InterCert, Germany) and QHA Trent accreditation.

Egg Donation

ISIDA clinic offers an egg donation program at the cost ranging from EUR 4,225-9,269. The programs include the following:

  • Follow-up consultations
  • Donor selection
  • Donor stimulation
  • Donor remuneration
  • Donor egg retrieval
  • ICSI
  • Embryo culture
  • Embryo freezing
  • NGS testing depending on the program
  • Medication for embryo transfer for the patient
  • Extended culture to the blastocyst stage
  • Embryo transfer
  • Vitrification of remaining embryos.

The cost of the first consultation is EUR 75 and it is deductible from the cost if treatment commences. Sperm freezing costs EUR 350. The cost of frozen embryo transfer is EUR 1,225.

IVF with own eggs

If you qualify for IVF treatment using your own oocytes, the cost ranges from EUR 2,900 to 4,630. IVF programs at ISIDA include:

  • Consultations
  • Medications in case of the package with medication
  • Hormonal stimulation
  • Sedation
  • Egg retrieval
  • Embryo culture
  • Embryo freezing
  • Medication for embryo transfer for the patient depending on the program (with or without medication)
  • Embryo transfer.

ISIDA clinic offers two egg sharing programs at the cost of EUR 4,255 and EUR 5,425. The patient will receive half of the oocytes obtained from the donor.

ISIDA Success Rates 2019

The egg donation clinical rate for 2019 per single transfer excluding the consecutive frozen transfers was 57.5% and the IVF with own eggs clinical success rate was 41.5%. The IVF with own eggs clinical pregnancy rate with a breakdown per recipient’s age is as follows:

  • under 35 years of age – 42%
  • 35-40 years old – 48.5%
  • above the age of 34%.

The frozen embryo clinical pregnancy rate (IVF with own eggs) in 2019 was 53% for under 35-year-olds, 50% for women aged 35-40 and 35% for women above 40. The egg donation clinical rate for FET was 43% in 2019.

The embryologists at ISIDA recommend transferring embryo on Day 5, at the blastocyst stage. If the ERA test is carried out, the day of the embryo transfer is scheduled according to the results. The average number of embryos transferred is 1.2 for own oocytes and 1.1 for donor oocytes. This makes the multiple birth rate 8% at the clinic.
