The IVF-Life United Kingdom was established as a Reproductive Health Group in 2014 and now is part of IVF-Life Group. It is situated in a stand-alone facility where there is ample space to ensure safe distancing and all bedrooms on the ward have private ensuite bathrooms. The clinic features one IVF laboratory and one operating theatre. There are eight single ensuite recovery rooms for patients. In 2019 the clinic performed 141 treatments of which 94% were IVF with own eggs treatments and 6% were egg donation treatments.
The aim of IVF-Life UK is to provide the best fertility and women’s health care to all patients. The clinic is the UK’s first fully integrated fertility hospital. Every detail of the centre was specially designed by experts to give patients the highest possible level of care. The centre has the means to use the very latest technology, in a state-of-the-art environment, delivered by highly skilled fertility professionals.
At IVF-Life UK, they understand each and every patient is unique and therefore they will require different care and treatments. Before any treatment is recommended all the appropriate investigations are carried out. This will allow the doctor and embryologists to attempt to understand what may be affecting your fertility and how best to treat you. The staff believes that offering a personalised, individual treatment will not only make your treatment as relaxed as possible, but will help you to achieve your goal. The clinic also provides a counselling service that is available to all patients of the clinic before, during, between or after treatments. It provides much-needed support and intervention during periods of high stress, allowing you to privately explore and discuss your thoughts and feelings about your fertility.
Dr James Armatage is the Interim Medical Director and Reproductive Health Consultant. Dr Armatage is a gynaecologist and specialist in reproductive medicine with over 30 years of experience. He established one of the most successful fertility clinics in the region, Cheshire Fertility in 1997 and has helped thousands of couples realise their dreams of parenthood.
The clinic employs three embryologists. The senior embryologist has 25 years of experience in the fertility field. IVF-Life UK is HFEA licensed and CQC registered.
