The medical team at IVOX IVF Hospital consists of two directors, two embryologists with vast experience, and numerous patient care staff. Dr. Mürüde Çakartas Dağdelen, MD, is the director and the main fertility doctor at the clinic. She has 22 years of experience in the field. She is not only an obstetrics and gynecology specialist but also the only gynecologist with the T.R. Ministry of Health IVF Specialization certificate. If you prefer your fertility doctor to be female in order to express yourself more comfortably, Dr. Mürüde Dağdelen will be a perfect choice for you. Also, all the coordinating staff is female so the communication can be conducted in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The entire environment for patients has been prepared so you can express your problems without hesitation.

Microsort is a method that separates the male or female embryos according to their (X) and (Y) chromosomes.
IVOX IVF Hospital also offers treatments for men with azoospermia: testicular sperm extraction (TESE) and testicular sperm aspiration (TESA). These methods are the optimal form of retrieval for men with no sperm in their ejaculate (azoospermia) or those who have an issue with sperm production.
- Testicular sperm extraction (TESE) involves making a small incision in the testis and examining the tubules for the presence of sperm. TESE can be done as a scheduled procedure or can be coordinated with partner’s egg retrieval. It is usually performed with sedation but also can be performed in the office with only local anesthesia. It is a good idea to have your sperm frozen right after this procedure for future IVF cycle.
- Testicular sperm aspiration (TESA) is a procedure performed for men who are having sperm retrieved for IVF/ICSI. It is done with local anesthesia in the operating room or office and is coordinated with their female partner’s egg retrieval. A needle is inserted in the testicle so sperm can be aspirated. TESA is performed for men with obstructive azoospermia (s/p vasectomy).

IVOX IVF Hospital Costs
If you and your partner qualify for IUI (intrauterine insemination with the partner’s sperm), the cost of this procedure at IVOX IVF is EUR 1,500. If you wish to use donor sperm, then the cost of a donor, EUR 1,500 needs to be added on top of that.
IVF with Own Eggs
IVF/ICSI with own eggs treatment is advertised as costing EUR 3,000. It includes:
- Egg harvesting
- ICSI fertilisation
- embryo transfer
The cost of a frozen embryo transfer is EUR 1,500. If there is a need for PGT-A, this can be done at the cost of EUR 5,500 + EUR 300 per embryo until 9 embryos.
IVF with Donor Eggs
The advertised price of donor egg treatment is EUR 5,000. Included in this price is
- egg donor costs
- egg donor medication
- ICSI fertilisation
- embryo transfer.
Donor sperm costs EUR 1,500.
Social Freezing
If you wish to preserve your oocytes, the social freezing process is EUR 3,000 and it includes egg storage for 3 years. Then you pay EUR 250 per year of storage. Sperm freezing also costs EUR 250.
If you are planning to vitrify and store your surplus embryos, then the cost is EUR 600 and it includes a year of storage. After that, the cost is only EUR 250 per year.
Genetic Testing – PGT-A
PGT-A/PGS (genetic embryo testing) is available at the cost of EUR 300 per embryo. There is also a cost on top of that – EUR 2,500 for the process of genetic testing.

IVOX IVF Hospital Success Rates 2022
The overall egg donation clinical pregnancy success rate per embryo transfer in 2022 was 75%. The overall clinical pregnancy success rate for IVF with own eggs per embryo transfer was 38%. The breakdown per patient’s age for IVF own eggs looks as below:
- women under 35 years old – 55%
- women aged 35-40 years old – 49%
- women above 40 years old – 30%.
The frozen embryo clinical pregnancy success rate in 2022 was 80% and the success rate for embryo donation was 85%. The clinic’s fertility specialists prefer to transfer embryos on Day 5 of their development and they transfer on average 2 embryos. This gives a 10% multiple birth rate achieved in 2022.

The clinic is located in its own building at Kazim Nami Duru Sokak, No. 6 Ortakoy, Lefkosa, Cyprus, nearby the city centre. They are open 24/7 so you can contact them anytime. It takes approx. 30 minutes to get to the clinic from Ercan International Airport and about 45 minutes to drive from Larnaca International Airport. IVOX can arrange an airport pickup for you (airport -> hotel) – the price depends on the hotel location.
