Prague Fertility Centre was established in 2009 and is located a 10-minute drive from the Prague city centre. This fertility clinic resides in a modern medical centre building with an in-house pharmacy and specialists in different areas: immunology, genetics, breast sonography, internist, etc. The clinic’s interior has fresh, clean, white and orange decor. One of the founders of Prague Fertility Centre (PFC) is Dr. Sonja Lazarovska, an experienced European specialist in the field of gynecology. Having worked at one of the first fertility clinics in the Czech Republic, she decided to establish a centre in Prague and cater to local and international patients in need of more advanced fertility treatment techniques and personalized care. At the moment, the clinic performs over 2,000 IVF cycles a year. In 2021, the doctors at PFC carried out 1,200 egg donation cycles and 800 cycles with own oocytes.

Prague Fertility Centre Medical Team
Dr. Sonja Lazarovska is the Medical Director of the clinic. She has over 30 years of experience in gynecology and 20 years of experience in fertility and IVF treatment. She is the co-founder of the clinic and has been working as a Head Gynecologist and obstetrician. Before Prague Fertility Centre, she worked at one of the first IVF clinics in the Czech Republic. With her extensive experience, empathy, and patience, she is well-equipped to treat the most complex cases. She does not give up on her patients until there’s a positive pregnancy. Dr. Lazarovska is also a co-author of several scientific studies and publications and speaks English, Czech, Serbian and Russian.
The medical team at PFC comprises 8 fertility doctors, excluding the Medical Director and 14 embryologists. There are 3 senior embryologists with 25 years of combined experience and they are ESHRE accredited. Also, Prague Fertility Centre, employs one of the only two ESHRE-certified nurses in the whole country. All doctors speak English so you will not any problems with communication. The vast majority of staff (nurses, coordinators) speak English.

OptimFert increases their pregnancy chances, by monitoring maturity and performing timely fertilization of their limited number of eggs. Who will most benefit from this method? Women diagnosed with poor ovarian reserve (low level of AMH) or patients of advanced age (for natural conception).

IVF Costs at Prague Fertility Centre
For couples who medically qualify for IUI (intrauterine insemination with a partner’s sperm), this procedure is available at the price of only EUR 600. Intrauterine insemination with donor sperm is not available at the clinic.
IVF with Own Eggs
Prague Fertility Centre offers IVF program with own oocytes at the cost of EUR 3,800. This package includes:
- sperm selection with microchips,
- embryo monitoring,
- embryo transfer,
- embryo glue,
- laser-assisted hatching,
- embryo vitrification.
There is an option to genetically test your embryos. PGT-A is available for EUR 450 per embryo + EUR 800 for a biopsy. Or you can have 8 embryos tested at once for EUR 3,000 which saves you EUR 800.
IVF with Donor Eggs
Prague Fertility Centre also offers egg donation treatment to patients who require high-quality oocytes. Such treatment is available at the cost of EUR 4,900. What’s included in this price?
- egg donor stimulation and drugs,
- recipient preparation,
- sperm selection,
- embryo transfer.
For couples who are not ready to conceive an egg donor baby, the clinic offers a wonderful opportunity to undergo COMBI IVF (a Tandem IVF cycle with an egg donor). In such a cycle, both you and your egg donor are stimulated at the same time. CIMBI IVF allows you to give own cells a chance while simultaneously fertilizing donor eggs. Such a solution offers you the much-needed peace of mind of having extra donor egg embryos for a potential transfer. This saves you time because you will not have to go through another egg donation cycle during your subsequent menstrual cycle.
Your first online consultation with the clinic is free of charge. If you are interested in in-person consultation, the cost is EUR 100, but this amount can be deducted if you start your treatment with the clinic. The cost of extended culture to blastocyst stage is extra and is EUR 300, embryo monitoring costs EUR 400 with the egg donation program.

Prague Fertility Centre Success Rates 2021
In 2021, the overall clinical pregnancy success rate for egg donation was 54% and for IVF using own eggs – 38% overall. The IVF with own eggs clinical pregnancy success rates per age were:
- women under 35 – 48%
- women aged 35-41 – 36%
- women above 40 years of age – 27%.
On 2021, the frozen embryo clinical pregnancy success rate was 49%. The average number of embryos transferred in 2021 was 1.37.
