Dunya IVF clinic is located in the city of Kyrenia on the northern coast of Cyprus. It was opened in 2008 and treats private patients. The total number of treatment cycles undertaken in 2021 was approximately over 1,000 and 687 of these were egg donation cycles and 327 were IVF with own eggs cycles.
Dunya IVF moved to a purpose-built brand new building furnished with the latest technology in January 2018. It has two operating theatres, four private patient rooms, andrology, embryology and cryopreservation laboratories along with a recovery room for patients following fertility procedures.
The Medical Director is Dr. Berk Angün who joined Dunya IVF in 2008. He graduated from the University of Uludag and the University of Anatolia Medical School. He has worked in several hospitals and clinics including the Woman & Infertility Centre in Istanbul and the Anatolia IVF Centre in Ankara. He is fully trained in quality management processes (European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM)) and has pioneered the implementation of these principles. He is a current member of the TSRM Reproductive Health and Infertility Association, TJOD Turkish Society of Gynaecology and JED Gynaecological Endoscopy association. There are 2 doctors (excluding the medical director) who work in this clinic and 5 embryologists. The senior embryologist has 26 years of experience. The clinic has an international team who speak Turkish, English, Russian, Italian, Romanian, Bulgarian, French, German and Arabic.

Dunya IVF Costs 2022
If you and your partner qualify for the non-invasive, most basic treatment – IUI (intrauterine insemination with partner’s sperm), the cost at Dunya is EUR 500. If you opt for AID (artificial insemination with a donor), this will cost you EUR 1,000.
IVF with Own Eggs
IVF/ICSI with own eggs treatment is advertised as costing EUR 3,000. The cost of a frozen embryo transfer is EUR 1,500. If there is a need for PGT-A/PGS, this can be done at the cost of EUR 2,500 + EUR 300/embryo added on top of any treatment price.
IVF with Donor Eggs
The advertised price of donor egg treatment is EUR 5,500. Included in this price is
- egg donor stimulation,
- egg retrieval,
- ICSI,
- culture to blastocyst
- embryo transfer.
Embryo donation is available at the price of EUR 6,5000 and sperm donation (IVF cycle + donor sperm) costs EUR 4,500.
Social Freezing
If you wish to preserve the remaining embryos, the cost of vitrification is EUR 500 + EUR 250 yearly maintenance fee. Sperm freezing cost is EUR 250 + a EUR 125 yearly maintenance fee. For those women interested in preserving their fertility, Dunya offers egg freezing/social freezing for EUR 3,000 Euro. This price includes 1-year storage. Then, you pay EUR 250 per year. There is an option of egg sharing and this is cheaper. Donor characteristics such as age, nationality, blood type and physical characteristics are available for patients opting for egg donation treatment. All consultations are free at Dunya IVF.
Genetic Testing – PGT-A
PGT-A/PGS (genetic embryo testing) is available at the cost of EUR 300 per embryo. There is also a cost on top of that – EUR 2,500 for the process of genetic testing.

Dunya IVF Clinic Success Rates 2021
The overall egg donation clinical pregnancy success rate* in 2021 was 72%. The overall clinical pregnancy success rate for IVF with own eggs was 38%. The breakdown per patient’s age for IVF own eggs looks as below:
- women under 35 years old – 49%
- women aged 35-40 years old – 37%
- women above 40 years old – 20%.
The frozen embryo clinical pregnancy success rate in 2021 was 61% and the success rate for embryo donation was 73%. The clinic’s fertility specialists prefer blastocyst transfers and they transfer on average 1.7 embryos. This gives a 10% multiple birth rate achieved in 2021.
*egg donation success rate per embryo transfer for all egg donation cases, for the entire 2019 year, excluding the consecutive cycles with frozen embryos or eggs, not cumulative, but per single transfer.
