The centre is the only clinic in Georgia that has implemented IVFID Witness System to guarantee that the IVF program is safe at each step. IVFID Witness System is an electronic system that makes sure that sperm, oocyte, and embryo samples are matching in all procedures (e.g. transfer, fertilisation) run by the clinic.

The main fertility expert of Silk Medical is Dr. Oksana Sevostianova. She is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and her professional carrier in gynecology started in 1994. Cost of Treatments at Silk Medical
The first consultation at Silk Medical is free of charge (it is included in the price of the treatment). IUI (intrauterine insemination) with partner’s sperm (provided there are no contraindications for both patients) is available for EUR 300 and AID (artificial insemination with donor sperm) will cost you EUR 700.
IVF with Own Eggs
Own oocyte IVF cycle at Silk Medical starts from EUR 4,500. The package includes:
- hormonal stimulation with medication,
- sedation for the egg collection,
- egg retrieval,
- ICSI,
- embryo cultivation,
- blastocyst transfer.
Silk Medical also offers other programs:
- Eco-lite with minimal stimulation for the price of EUR 2,150
- IVF in the natural cycle for EUR 1,430.
If you wish your embryos to be PGT-A tested, the cost is EUR 450 per embryo. Should your partner need to provide sperm sample, sperm freezing cost is EUR 250 and the cost of the egg freezing package is EUR 1,750. The cost of eggs, sperm or embryo storage per year is EUR 175. ICSI, embryo monitoring and extended culture to the blastocyst stage are always included in the price of the package.
If, after your IVF cycle there are any remaining embryos, you can have them vitrified for the cost of EUR 100 per cryotop. Then the frozen embryo transfer will cost you EUR 1,300.
Egg Donation
If your fertility journey requires using oocytes from an egg donor, the egg donation package at Silk Medical starts from EUR 6,000. The program includes:

Silk Medical offers IVF programs with fresh and frozen donor eggs. Egg donors available at the clinic are women under 35, mentally and physically healthy, with pleasant appearance. All their donors have been examined and tested according to the legal requirements. The donor information available in the catalog describes their main phenotypic characteristics, as well as information on education, work, and marital status. Patients are free to choose a donor who best meets their requirements.
Egg sharing is also possible at Silk Medical and the package with shared eggs is more affordable than the standard egg donation cycle, but the total price will depend on the number of eggs to share.

Silk Medical Success Rates 2022
The success rate for IVF with own eggs at Silk Medical has been 58% in 2022. If we look at the success rates per patient’s age, the numbers are as below:
- women under 35 – 65%
- women aged 35-40 – 57%
- women over 40 – 32%.
Almost all embryo transfers performed in the clinic in 2022 were frozen embryo transfers (FET) in order to guarantee the recipient is well prepared for the transfer. The success rate with frozen embryo transfers has been 69% and the success rate for embryo donation has been 68%.
You should know that 99% of embryo transfers at Silk Medical are performed with blastocysts. In some unique cases, there may be a recommendation from the embryologist to transfer an embryo on day 3, but it is mostly an exception. What is important, 99% of embryo transfers done at Silk Medical have been single embryo transfers, so the multiple birth rate has been 0%, this means there have ben no twins born to patients of this clinic.
