Marta Slaidina, CEO and Medical Director of EGV Clinic
Dr. Marta Slaidina is the CEO and Medical Director of Clinic EGV, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility for couples from Latvia and abroad. She has been practicing as a gynaecologist-reproductologist at Clinic EGV since 2016 and holds an MD from Riga Stradins University (2015), as well as a certificate in gynecology and obstetrics from the University of Latvia (2015–2022).
In 2024, she earned a specialist certificate in gynaecological and fetal ultrasound and has completed advanced training in gynaecological endoscopy in France. Dr. Slaidina is an active member of the Association of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians, the Latvian Society of Human Reproduction, and ESHRE. She is dedicated to combining high-quality medical expertise with genuine compassion, always placing the individual needs and dreams of her patients and their families at the center of her practice, and speaks both English and Latvian.
There are 14 doctors at the clinic (excluding the medical director) and 5 embryologists. The senior embryologist Daina Majore has been practicing in the field since 1994. The Head of Tissue Centre, the embryologist Laura Vagule, has ESHRE accreditation. The clinic’s staff speak English, Russian, Latvian, Swedish and Danish.

IVF with own eggs
- IVF – In Vitro Fertilization – anesthesia, egg collection, fertilization, embryo culture up to the 3rd day, embryo transfer, chamber in the day patient department – EUR 1,830.
- ICSI – intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection – anesthesia, egg collection, fertilization with PICSI method, embryo culture up to the 3rd day in the special environment (culture medium with hyaluronate), embryo transfer with the assistance of embryo implantation promoting medium EUR 2,330.
Egg Donation
EGV clinic offers three egg donation programs:
- Egg donation program Basic – EUR 4,860 – 4 donor eggs – fertilization with PICSI method, embryo culture up to the 3rd day, embryo transfer, comfortable chamber in the day patient department for up to 2 hours.
- Egg donation program Extra – EUR 7,595 – 6 donor eggs – fertilization with PICSI method, embryos culture up to the 5th/6th day (blastocyst stage), EmbryoScope, assisted hatching, embryo transfer, comfortable chamber in the day patient department.
The clinic also offers two embryo donation programs:
- Cryo donor embryo – EUR 2,880 – 1 cycle included in the package, the donation is immediately and the donor’s oocytes are frozen, full payment required prior embryo transfer.
- Cryo donor embryo (with Preimplantation Genetic Screening PGT-A) – EUR 4,220 – 1 embryo transfer included in package, immediate donation with fresh oocytes, full payment required prior embryo transfer.
Embryo culture services are offered at various stages, each tailored to the specific needs of patients. Culturing embryos from the 1st to the 3rd day is priced at EUR 270. For extended cultivation from the 3rd day to the 5th or 6th day, known as blastocyst cultivation, the cost is EUR 350.
Additionally, Clinic EGV provides cultivation of embryos in their advanced Time-lapse incubator (EmbryoScope) for up to 16 embryos, priced at EUR 530. For blastocyst cultivation in the Time-lapse incubator, the fee is EUR 830, ensuring optimal conditions for embryo development and selection.
The embryo transfer is priced at EUR 650 and the cost of Frozen Embryo Transfer (embryo thawing (1-2 cryo straws) and transfer with the assistance of embryo implantation promoting medium is EUR 950. If you are looking to freeze your embryos, check the price list below:
