The medical director of the private practice Fertility First is Dr Marinos Tsirigotis. He graduated from the Medical School of Athens and earned his specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology after passing the MRCOG exams at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (England) in 1992.
Dr Tsirigotis further specialized in human reproduction at the London Gynecology & Fertility Center under Professor Ian Craft, a pioneer in IVF, and became a Fellow of the Royal College (FRCOG) in 2004.
He co-founded the AKESO Gynecology and Fertility Center in Greece and served as its clinical director until 2022. Since 2023, he has been part of the IVF unit at the Institute of Life (IoL) at IASO, recognized for its scientific and technological excellence.

Fertility First responds directly to patient inquiries through email, WhatsApp, and Viber. After the initial consultation—either by phone or in person—where the doctor reviews the full medical history and decides the best treatment plan, the coordinator informs the couple about the legally required documents and explains the next steps to proceed.

Egg donors are matched to recipients based on characteristics such as age, eye and hair color, skin color, blood type and Rhesus factor, hobbies, and educational level through a personalized matching process without AI assistance. Blastocyst transfer is the preferred method, ensuring advanced and timely fertility care using the latest technologies.

IVF Costs at Fertility First
At Fertility First IVF, the egg donation program costs €7,600. This includes donor compensation, stimulation, medications for egg donation, monitoring, ICSI, culture to the blastocyst stage, frozen embryo replacement (FER), and freezing of remaining blastocysts. IVF with own eggs is priced at €3,600, which covers sedation, ICSI, blastocyst transfer, and freezing.
The clinic offers a range of treatments with clear pricing and options:
- First consultation: €100 online, €150 on-site (fee not deductible from treatment cost)
- Extended culture to blastocyst: €1,600
- Embryo transfer (FET): €1,400
- Embryo donation: from €7,500
- Donor sperm: €500–€700
- Sperm freezing: €95 for IUI, €120 for fertilization
- PRP treatment: €1,000 for ovarian application, €500 for endometrial application
- Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT-A/PGS): €750 set-up fee plus €255 per blastocyst-stage embryo biopsy
- IUI (intrauterine insemination) and AID (artificial insemination with donor sperm): €600
Egg or social freezing, including vitrification and storage, is available for €445 per year, €670 for three years, or €895 for five years, depending on the chosen duration.
