81.4% for women less than 35 years of age

72.4% for women between 35-39 years of age

53.9% for women over 40 years of age

For embryo donation the clinical pregnancy rate was 57%.

They submit their results to the Spanish Fertility Society (SEF) for verification. In 2016, they  transferred an average of 1.3 embryos. The multiple birth rate in 2016 was 15% with egg donation. 10% using own eggs.

Egg donation in Spain: advantages and disadvantages

Making the decision of undergoing reproductive treatment abroad is not an easy task. For that reason, you must select the clinic or centre carefully before making up your mind. This selection can be based in several positive parameters such as:-Experience. Spain is the country that carries out the largest amount of infertility treatments in Europe. You may also base our decision on the medical centre's own experience, by assessing the amount of cycles carried out and their track record.-Spain is at the cutting edge of research. It is widely known that some medical centres only provide assistance, while others also undertake research. However, there is a greater chance of pregnancy success in centres that provide customised treatment solutions and assistance by a team at the leading edge of the latest advances. Without a doubt, Spain is a country with countless clinics who introduce new reproductive medicine scientific advances on a yearly basis. An example of this is the Instituto Bernabeu group of clinics, who have achieved important advances on repeated implantation failure, a highly valued issue for patients who have undergone several failed attempts, in addition to therapeutical advances in regards to IVF for patients with low ovarian reserve. -Anonymous egg donors. Spanish law is very clear and advanced in regards to assisted reproduction. It is very strict in regards to the anonymity of both the egg donor and the couple undergoing treatment. -Highly qualified medical staff. If you want to ensure that you only receive assistance from the most experienced, competent gynaecologists and biologists, you are welcome to check our staff's medical and scientific background online.-Pricing. Although it is quite possible to find more economic locations, our offering provides the best results in addition to value for money. We recommend only selecting clinics who provide clear, closed estimates. When considering Spain, you must also bear in mind other negative aspects. One of them is the high number of clinics that have recently been created in view of the high demand from local and foreign patients. However, some clinics are unable to provide the quality levels characterising all top Spanish medical centres, since their medical assistance is based on achieving savings, resulting in a negative rate of successful pregnancies due to the lack of excellence of the laboratories where the embryos are generated. Fortunately, high quality centres are often the norm, although we must not ignore the dangers of receiving treatment at disguised lowcost centres or those led by corporations without any medical liaison.
