Her background includes advanced certifications in clinical embryology, embryo biopsy, and participation in ESHRE congresses.
Fertility Specialists
The medical team includes eight board-certified specialists in reproductive medicine and obstetrics, with professional experience ranging from 13 to 37 years.
- Senior Staff: Dr Nani Marsagishvili holds 37 years of experience as a Candidate of Medical Sciences certified in Reproductive Medicine and Obstetrics/Gynecology, while Dr Nino Samseishvili (22 years, PhD) specializes in ultrasound diagnostics and cervical disease management.
- International Expertise: Dr Ketevan Kantaria (22 years) holds a Master’s in Biotechnology of Human Assisted Reproduction from Valencia University. Dr Juna Zimlitski specializes in advanced gynecological endoscopy and hysteroscopy, having trained at Hadassah Medical Center and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London.
- Clinical Practitioners: The team further includes Dr Ketevan Kakashvili and Dr Lili Gvaramadze, both with 16 years of experience, and Dr Natia Kipiani (13 years), an active member of ESHRE who regularly attends international congresses to maintain updated clinical practices.
Embryology and Patient Coordination
The embryology department consists of three senior specialists with expertise in human assisted reproduction biotechnology and embryo management protocols. They manage all laboratory stages of the IVF programs.

LeaderMed uses a strict single embryo transfer strategy. Recommended BMI range is 18.5–30.0, with case-by-case assessment outside this range and medical optimization advised. Maximum age limits are 45 years for own eggs and 50 years for donor eggs, with individual assessment required. Single women can access IVF with own eggs and donor sperm insemination per Georgian law with medical infertility certification.
HIV-positive and HCV/HBV-positive patients (male/female) are accepted case-by-case with controlled viral loads and safety protocols. Gender selection unavailable for non-medical reasons; PGT-A may show embryo sex for medical genetic screening. On-site diagnostics include spermiogram, blood tests, hormonal analysis, and ultrasound.
Surrogacy Legal Guidelines and Couples’ Eligibility
LeaderMed provides comprehensive surrogacy programs integrated with legal coordination, strictly adhering to Georgian law. These programs are exclusively available to heterosexual couples with medical justification for infertility; single women and same-sex couples are not eligible.
Participation requires proof of a registered marriage or documented cohabitation prior to embryo transfer. Under Georgian legislation, parenthood is attributed to the couple providing written consent, allowing for direct registration on the birth certificate.

IVF Costs at LeaderMed
LeaderMed provides transparent pricing for fertility treatments. All costs are presented in EUR, with first consultation deductible from treatment costs if patient proceeds.
IVF with Own Eggs
IVF with own eggs costs €5,580 (or €5,980 with donor sperm). The price includes patient examination, medication for stimulation, oocyte retrieval, ICSI, embryo culture to blastocyst stage, extended culture, and fresh or frozen embryo transfer.
Sperm Donation Cycle (IVF + Donor Sperm)
IVF with Donor Sperm costs €5,980. This price includes a €400 allowance for donor sperm, as well as diagnostics, stimulation medications, egg retrieval, ICSI, blastocyst culture, and the first embryo transfer (fresh or frozen).
Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET)
FET costs €1,000–€1,850, including examination, medication, and embryo transfer.
Egg Donation
Egg donation programs start at €5,580 with one transfer or €6,580 with two transfers. ICSI is included in the total price.
PGT-A (Preimplantation Genetic Testing)
PGT-A costs €2,200 for four embryos with biopsy. Alternative pricing: €200 per embryo biopsy and €350 per embryo for genetic testing.
PRP Treatment (Platelet-Rich Plasma)
Ovarian PRP costs €1,000; endometrial PRP costs €800.
Gamete and Embryo Storage
Embryo vitrification (first year storage) costs €800. Egg freezing/social freezing: €350 per cycle; frozen gamete storage: €200 per year. Sperm freezing: €250.
IUI and AID
IUI costs €500; artificial insemination with donor sperm (AID) costs €500, plus donor sperm €400–€1,000.
Surrogacy
The following packages include medical services and compensation for the surrogate mother and, where applicable, the egg donor:

LeaderMed’s guaranteed surrogacy with egg donation package totals 70,400 USD (~€60,085), paid in four payments: 40,900 USD (~€36,985) upon contract, 7,000 USD (~€6,335) at week 5 of pregnancy, and 11,250 USD (~€10,175) at weeks 12 and delivery. LeaderMed reports clinical pregnancy rates for 2024 per embryo transfer, based on 1200 total treatment cycles (840 egg donation, 360 IVF with own eggs). Overall egg donation clinical pregnancy rate was 50–65%, with fresh donor eggs at 55–65% and frozen donor eggs at 55–65%.
IVF with own eggs clinical pregnancy rates for 2024 were:
- Under 35 years: 50–60%
- 35–40 years: 35–45%
- Above 40 years: 15–18%
The frozen embryo clinical pregnancy rate was 40–45% and the embryo donation clinical pregnancy rate was 55–60%. LeaderMed prefers blastocyst transfers on day 5. In 2024, the multiple birth rate was 18–20%, with an average of 1.16–1.28 embryos transferred per cycle.
