In 2023, My Fertility doctors supervised total of 350 treatment cycles of their patients. Of these, 65% were IVF cycles using patients’ own eggs. The remaining 35% were egg donation cycles.
With the support of the collaborating IVF centre: Hygeia IVF-Embryogenesis Unit—Athens’ largest and most advanced fertility clinic—patients are guaranteed outstanding care and support. The clinic is conveniently located on the third and fourth floors of a building with elevator access.

Dr. Sofia and Dr. Serafeim are experienced fertility specialists committed to helping patients achieve parenthood through advanced care.
Dr. Sofia-Paraskevi Trachana
Dr. Sofia-Paraskevi Trachana is a highly skilled Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist with a passion for helping patients. Dr. Trachana earned her medical degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. In 2016, she was awarded a PhD with honours from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2016, she also received her MSc in “Regenerative and Reproductive Medicine” with honours.
Dr. Trachana also received advanced subspecialty training at the Fertility Unit of St Bartholomew’s Hospital (Barts Health NHS Trust) in London, one of the UK’s leading NHS fertility clinics.
Dr. Trachana has worked with many patients facing challenges like PCOS, autoimmune diseases, early menopause, low egg count, and hormone imbalances that affect the menstrual cycle. She has a special interest in Onco-Fertility and is passionate about helping cancer patients protect their chance of having children in the future.
She is a member of ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) and a member of Hellenic Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Serafeim Pousias
Dr. Serafeim Pousias is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist specializing in Fertility, Reproductive Endocrinology and Surgery.
In 2010 he successfully completed his medical studies at the University of Thessaly in Greece. He, also, obtained a Master’s degree in Reproductive Biology at the University of Thessaly with the grade “Excellent”. Moreover, in November 2019, he has been awarded a doctorate in the field of Reproductive Medicine by the Department of Medicine of Thessaly University with the grade “Excellent”.
In 2020, he completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology specialization at Alexandra General Hospital in Athens. From 2022 to 2023, Dr. Pousias worked as a Fertility Specialist at TFP Fertility Clinic in Vienna, Austria, focusing on assisted reproduction, fertility preservation and reproductive surgery.
He is certified in Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO), International Ovarian Tumor Analysis (IOTA), and holds a bachelor degree in Endoscopic Surgery (ESGE, Belgium). Dr. Pousias is an active member of ESHRE and the Hellenic Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

My Fertility IVF Costs
Patients can choose between a free 15-minute consultation with a doctor or a 60-minute in-person consultation for EUR 100. The cost of the one-hour visit is deductible if the patient proceeds with treatment.
IUI (intrauterine insemination) cost starts from EUR 600 and if there is a need to use donor sperm you can undergo AID (artificial insemination with donor) from EUR 1,000. The cost of donor sperm starts from EUR 800.

IVF with Own Eggs
The cost of IVF treatment with own eggs starts from EUR 3,600 and using donor sperm EUR 4,200. What’s included?

Endometrial rejuvenation is available in the form of PRP treatment (platelet rich plasma) starting from EUR 800.
IVF with Donor Eggs
Egg donation program is offered from EUR 7,000 and it includes:

- ICSI
- blastocyst culture
- Embryoscope
- embryo transfer
ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) is included in the price of egg donation treatments. Embryo monitoring using advanced technologies such as Embryoscope, Time Lapse, or Geri is also included in the treatment price.
Social Freezing
If you are looking for fertility preservation, My Fertility is the place to go. Sperm freezing is available from 200 euros. Egg freezing, also known as social freezing, costs from 3,000 euros plus the additional cost of medication. The annual storage fee for frozen gametes is from 200 euros.
Genetic Testing
The cost of PGT-A starts at EUR 700 per embryo, while the cost of PGT-M varies depending on the specific technique used.
The cost of vitrification for surplus embryos (not slow freezing) and their storage starts at EUR 300 per embryo. For frozen embryo transfers (FET), the cost begins at EUR 1,600. These prices ensure clarity for patients planning their future fertility treatments.

My Fertility Success Rates
In 2023, the clinical pregnancy success rate per embryo transfer (not cumulative) for egg donation was 70%, while for IVF with own eggs, it was 65%. Success rates for IVF with own eggs varied by age:
- Patients under 35 years achieved a success rate of 70%.
- Women aged 35–40 had a success rate of 65%.
- Patients over 40 saw a success rate of 45% when PGT-A was used.
The success rate for frozen embryo transfers was also 65% per embryo transfer (not cumulative), and embryo donation achieved a success rate of 70%. The clinic’s multiple birth rate was 15%, with Day 5 being the preferred day for embryo transfer.

The doctors’ offices are located on the ground and first floors of a private building with elevator access. They are open for in-person visits Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
