EmbryoClinic IVF Costs
At EmbryoClinic, IUI (intrauterine insemination) costs EUR 700. AID (artificial insemination with donor) is EUR 2,000 total, including donor sperm (starting from EUR 1,200).
IVF with Own Eggs
The waiting time for donor eggs is approximately 3 months. The first consultation costs EUR 150 and is conducted by a senior fertility gynecologist.
The cost of IVF treatment with own eggs is EUR 3,700. What’s included?
- Administration, coordination and medical consultations during treatment
- Ultrasound scans at EmbryoClinic

- Anaesthesia for egg collection

Egg donation program at EmbryoClinic costs EUR 7,900 and it includes:
- Administration, coordination and medical consultations during treatment
- All egg donor’s expenses (screening, support, compensation, medication, drugs, scans, blood tests, pre-anaesthetic assessment, egg collection, anaesthesia)
- Sperm preparation, fertilization, embryo culture
- Sperm freezing and storage for up to 1 year

Additional EmbryoClinic Services
Endometrial/Ovarian PRP Treatment
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) infusion in the endometrium and/or ovaries is a simple and effective treatment option to rejuvenate your fertility. The cost for endometrial PRP is EUR 1,200 and for transvaginal ovarian PRP is EUR 1,700. PRP is derived from the patient’s own peripheral blood following lengthy centrifugation in an aseptic conditions, ultimately resulting in increased platelet and growth factor concentration.
For the endometrium, PRP infusion is painless and performed without anaesthesia via a small transvaginal catheter, usually a few days before the embryo transfer. Studies have shown:
- Up to 60% higher implantation rate.
- Up to 50% lower miscarriage rate.
- Up to 2 times higher ongoing pregnancy rate.
- Up to 80% higher delivery rate.*

For the ovaries: PRP infusion can be performed either transvaginally (similar to oocyte retrieval) or transabdominally (with laparoscopy), with studies showing:
- Higher antral follicle count.
- Up to 60% lower cycle cancellation rate.
- A higher number of cleavage stage embryos obtained.**

Fertility Acupuncture
Acupuncture is recognized for enhancing fertility by reducing stress, improving endocrine function, and aiding in hormonal balance. It helps regulate menstrual cycles and increase endometrial receptivity in women, while also enhancing sperm quality in men. Additionally, when used alongside Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART), acupuncture can enhance ovarian activity, mitigate hormonal therapy side effects, and increase the success rates of IVF treatments. Acupuncture is also available at EmbryoClinic.
EmbryoClinic Success Rates
In 2024, at EmbryoClinic, the overall clinical pregnancy success rate for IVF with own eggs was 54.2%. The clinic performed a total of 176 IVF transfers using own eggs, comprising 72 fresh embryo transfers and 104 frozen embryo transfers (FET). Clinical pregnancy success rate per age group using own genetic material was as follows:
Broken down per age:
- Women under 35 years old: 58.5%
- Women aged 35-40 years old: 55.1%
- Women over 40 years old: 32.7%
Regarding the egg donation programme, EmbryoClinic reported the following results in 2024. The cumulative egg donation clinical pregnancy success rate reached 88%. When examining single IVF cycle success rates per embryo transfer, fresh donor eggs achieved a 69% clinical pregnancy rate, while frozen donor eggs achieved 67%.
The frozen embryo clinical pregnancy rate in 2024 was 64.3%, and the embryo donation clinical pregnancy rate was 78%. The clinic maintained an average of 1.3 embryos transferred per embryo transfer, with a multiple birth rate of 16% in 2024.

In 2024, EmbryoClinic patients came from more than 40 countries. The largest groups were from Italy (31%), Serbia (29%), and the UK (9%), with the remainder from various other countries.
Clinic Location
EmbryoClinic is located in the beautiful Kalamaria district of Thessaloniki, Greece, a mere 15 minutes via taxi or 30 minutes via public transportation from the Thessaloniki Airport (SKG). This location makes EmbryoClinic a very convenient option for patients flying in from abroad.
The exact address of the clinic is: Kalamaria, 6 Adrianoupoleos Street (entrance from 8 Papakirytsi Street), 551 33 Thessaloniki, Greece. The facility is open from Monday to Friday – 8 AM to 9 PM. On Saturdays, the opening hours are from 9 AM to 2 PM. On Sundays, EmbryoClinic is closed.
