Ventus IVF – My Personal Review
Behind IVF Clinic Doors: My Visit to Ventus IVF, North Cyprus
Ventus IVF makes an impression before you have even spoken to anyone.
About the clinic
Ventus IVF was founded in 2024 in Nicosia, Northern Cyprus, and has already secured a remarkable set of credentials for a clinic of its age.
It is the first fertility clinic in Cyprus to receive accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP), one of the most respected international standards for laboratory quality and safety in the world. It also operates the first laboratory in Cyprus specifically designed to eliminate exposure to volatile organic compounds, a detail that speaks to the level of scientific rigour behind the scenes. Artificial intelligence tools support the embryology team in analysing sperm quality, assessing eggs, and monitoring embryo development, adding another layer of precision to the decisions made in the lab every day.
Arrival at the clinic
The building is stunning. Modern, beautifully designed, impressive both from the outside and inside. It is the kind of space that communicates ambition and seriousness from the very first glance. Walking in, the atmosphere matches: professional, polished, and purposeful. This is a clinic that clearly takes itself seriously, and everything around you reflects that.
The consultations
My first meeting was with patient coordinator Emel Kamburoglu, and she is, quite simply, remarkable.
Her confidence is the kind that transfers to you. From the moment she started walking me through the process and the possible next steps, I felt something shift. A sense of calm. A sense of trust. Not because she was reassuring in a soft way, but because she was so certain, so knowledgeable, so completely at ease with every question I had that it became impossible not to feel the same. Her energy is extraordinary, and it stays with you.
Then I met Assoc. Prof. Beril Yüksel, and the experience continued in the same spirit.
She has an incredible presence, warm and calm and deeply compassionate, with a way of listening that makes you feel genuinely heard. She walked me through the process, the possibilities, and the next steps with patience and clarity, never rushing, never simplifying things beyond what they deserved. She also performed an ultrasound during the consultation, and took the time to explain exactly what she was seeing and what it meant. It was one of the most informative and reassuring moments of the entire visit.
The lab
If the consultations were impressive, the lab visit was in a category of its own.
Zafer Atayurt, Embryology Laboratory Director, spent almost thirty minutes walking me through everything. Every piece of equipment, every stage of the process, every decision that gets made inside those walls. It felt like sitting in on an intense university lecture in embryology, except that the lecturer was someone who has lived and breathed this work for years. I came out of that room feeling like I understood things I never thought I would.
The moment that stood out most was seeing the sperm selection process up close. That was a first for me, and it was fascinating in a way that is hard to put into words. Watching the precision, the skill, the extraordinary care that goes into something most people never get to see, it is a reminder of what truly happens behind the scenes of a fertility treatment.
Final thoughts
Ventus IVF left me with one overriding feeling: trust.
Every single person I met, from the patient coordinator to the doctor to the embryologist, projected the same thing: complete mastery of what they do. This is a team that is ready for anything. Plenty of knowledge, plenty of experience, and an absolute confidence in their approach that is not arrogance but earned certainty.
Ventus IVF is for the patient who wants to feel completely in safe hands. Someone who finds reassurance not in warmth alone, but in expertise, precision, and the quiet confidence of a team that knows exactly what it is doing and why. If you want to walk into a clinic and feel like nothing has been left to chance, this is that clinic.
And if you would like to see what that experience actually looks like, you can watch the full episode.
